Perform accounts payable tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. Monitor the Accounts Payable customer assistance call line and email box. Resolve all accounts payable issues in a timely manner. Add new vendors and make related changes in ERP system per W-9 or W-8 and other signed documentation. Assist management when needed with audits and special projects.

Monitor the AP inbox, respond to inquiries, and resolve questions/issues. Work closely with vendors to request invoice changes and maintain a positive attitude. Submit inputs and expense reports accurately and timely. Assist in recording invoices and payroll reports. Prepare vendor reconciliations and investigate AP queries effectively. Assist in setting up new vendors and maintaining vendor files.

The Accounting Operations Specialist will own the full Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable cycles including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, reimbursements, and cash flow forecasting; oversee tax compliance in Avalara and play a key role in strengthening accounting operations as Halcyon scales.
